Roy Paxton Yih, CEO of BioCheck, Inc. – HQ located in South San Francisco, California – acquired DRG International, with offices in USA, Germany, Russia, Poland, and Czech Republic, in August 2021. Roy oversees the global enterprise and looks to grow the business, optimize operations, and improve patient care. The intention to improve patient care comes from decentralizing diagnostic healthcare testing to increase access to patients around the world. These rapid diagnostic tests will provide valuable data or information to the patients’ health care team with regards to next steps in treatment options. The goal is to provide timely information so treatment can be implemented earlier, and effectiveness can be analyzed sooner to better the long-term outcomes or better life.
Mr. Yih brings more than 30 years of successful leadership in his previous company, Biocare Medical LLC – an IHC company of innovated reagent chemistries and instrumentation, delivered to hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, reference labs and research institutions around the globe. Biocare is recognized as a provider of the highest quality IHC products that give accurate timely results specifically in the area of cancer diagnostics.
Mr. Yih holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from U.C. Davis and a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University.
