The DRG:HYBRiD-XL D-Dimer is an immunoturbidimetric assay for the quantitative in vitro diagnostic measurement of D_dimer in citrate-plasma.
Only for use with the DRG:HYBRiD-XL Analyzer.
- D-dimer containing moieties are formed by plasmin degradation of factor XIIIa cross linked fibrin. Elevated levels of D-dimer are found in clinical conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE) and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). D-dimer levels rise during pregnancy and high levels are associated with complications
- The DRG:HYBRiD-XL D_dimer Kit is an immunoturbidimetric assay. Sample is reacted with a buffer and anti-D_dimer coated latex. The formation of the antibody-antigen complex during the reaction results in an increase in turbidity and the absorbance is measured at 645 nm. The change in absorbance signal is proportional to the amount of D_dimer in the sample D_dimer concentration in the sample is determined by comparison with a standard curve.
